Hi there, I'm Ashton! Fourth grade teacher by day, creative designer and crafter by night. I love all things neon and bright, ice cream with sprinkles, and an aesthetically pleasing home and classroom. You know, all of the simple things!

It's 2006, and it's the first day of school. You walk into your homeroom classroom to see all of your friends, and new room, and a first year teacher. Immediately, you gravitate towards this teacher. So much so that each day the student chose to give up their recess time to help the new teacher cut laminated shapes, put together bulletin boards, and grade work. This was me in sixth grade, and this was also when I knew I would become a teacher in the future.

Fast forward to today: I am a fourth grade teacher loving my students, school, and career. While I am working on lesson plans and fun activities for my kiddos, you can also find me working on pursuing and even BIGGER future in my career as I complete graduate school to become a future school leader. And when all of the work is done, that's when you can find me reorganizing our home and creating unique and beautiful things by bringing my own visions to life.

See that guy over there? That's my husband and one of my biggest supporters. Married since October 2019, he has always been my biggest fan when it comes to pursuing my dreams and goals of becoming not only an inspirational teacher, but also building a small business of things I love. Even when I "spur-of-the-moment" decide to take apart and reorganize an entire room in one day, you'll always find him cheering on the end result and all the effort that went into it. So thank you for that, honey!

 

To Simply Love combines my love and passion for all things teaching and classroom resources to home DIY projects that I can bring from our home to yours. Simply Love Teaching offers all resources, ideas, inspiration for teachers all across the globe to access lesson plans, classroom management techniques, and even classroom decor. Simply Love Creating shows my crafty and designer side of my life that I absolutely enjoy offering tips, tricks, and trades to apply and even products that I created from our home to share with all of you!
